Panorama-Panthers-Picture112The Panorama School Board met in regular session Monday.

The Board made no changes to breakfast and lunch fees for the 2018-2019 school year. The feels for meals include: student breakfast ($1.60), adult breakfast ($2.10), student lunch ($2.75), and adult lunch ($3.75). The prices have remained the same for three consecutive years.

The Board also approved replacing a couple lights at the baseball/softball complex. Superintendent Shawn Holloway talks about another update to the fields. “Our softball scoreboard, we refaced that. (I’d) Just like to thank Coach (Nick) Peasley for helping out, both with his time and resources for that project. That was a bit of an eyesore so it’s nice to have that refaced and looking nice.”

Other action items approved include: a walk-in cooler for the secondary building, renewals for district specialty underwriters and school insurance, overnight and out of state trip requests, and the first reading on 400 series Board policy. There was no action on milk and bread bids as none had come in by the time of the meeting. They will instead be reviewed in July.
