Downtown Perry recently welcomed a brand new store into an old building, selling a little bit of everything.
Finders Keepers is a new thrift store, which moved into the old Firehouse Ice Cream shop, which closed its doors about a year ago. The new owners purchased the space from prior owner Brian Eiteman, and have since filled it with a wide variety of items ranging from movies to clothes, and from classic toys to unique collector’s items. Finders Keepers isn’t a typical consignment store, as their goal isn’t to be a place where people bring their unwanted household items to donate. Instead, their stock comes from overstocked stores, damaged shipping units, store closeouts, returns, and unpaid storage units.
Co-owner Karl Harris encourages shoppers to stop in regularly, as their stock will be frequently changing. Finders Keepers is open Tuesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
