With the recent acquirement of Peoples Trust and Savings Bank being sold to Rigler Investment, a new campaign has started.

The nine-branch community banking locations have changed their name to Peoples Bank and have a new blue and green logo. Chief Operating Officer John Rigler III said they are continuing the slogan of “Peoples First Banking” but wanted to give it a fresh look to convey optimism and enthusiasm for the future. As for the new logo, Rigler III said it was inspired by the fields and sky of Iowa.

The Rigler family bought Peoples Bank last fall from Green Circle Investments, during the company’s 100th anniversary. The Rigler family still owns State Bank in northeast Iowa.
