The Perry softball team will try to get on the field tonight when they travel to Boone for a Raccoon River Conference softball game against the Toreadors. Last night’s game with Carroll was postponed due to heavy rain and the threat for tornadoes. The game has been rescheduled for this Friday at 11 am with a varsity game only. Carroll defeated Perry back in the opening week of the regular season. The Jayettes have played only one game this week losing to defending state champion Winterset Monday night. Shawn Kenney will have tonight’s game on KDLS.
