Two weeks ago, the Adel Partners Chamber of Commerce was thwarted in their original attempt to hold an event combining exercise and education. Tomorrow, they’ll try again, as they will host “A Walk Through History.”

The event will start at 1:30 p.m., with participants meeting in the parking lot north of City Hall. It will include a guided walk around the City to learn the history behind several homes and buildings. The group will proceed north from the parking lot towards downtown, then head west along Main Street. They will make a stop at the Brickyard Park trailhead for refreshments, before continuing back east on the Raccoon River Valley Trail, ending where they began.

There is no cost to participate, and anyone from the public is invited to attend. Pre-registration is not required, but is appreciated.
