As the Jefferson Library Kids Summer Reading Program enters its fourth full week, here are the upcoming activities for the week of June 25th.
On Monday will be the start of the weekly craft, “Rock Tic-Tac-Toe-To-Go.” All crafts in the Children’s Department are come-and-go activities. Then on Tuesday will be the next Lunch and a Movie event, with a showing of Universal Studio’s “SING” from noon to 2pm. Attendees are asked to bring a sack lunch and a drink. Plus, free popcorn and pop will be provided. Finally on Wednesday a special program will be held from 10 to 11:30am. It is “Rock” My World, with all kinds of rocks that kids will explore including: geodes, rock collections, rock candy and making rock necklaces.
All activities and events during the Kids Summer Reading Program at the Jefferson Library relate to this year’s theme of “Libraries Rock!” Children four-years-old through fifth grade can sign up anytime for the Summer Reading Program. Call the Children’s Department at 386-4415.
