The Panora City Council will meet in regular session tonight.

The Council will conduct the third and final reading on ordinances increasing City sewer and water rates. They will also have a second reading on an ordinance amending City electric rates. Other action items include an urban revitalization tax exempt application and the sale of the old transformer and reclosers.

Other discussion items with possible action include the formation of a housing committee for a housing needs assessment and a quote on remote water reading technology for electric and water meters. The meeting will conclude with an update on the water line project from City Distribution Superintendent Tony Monthei.

The meeting begins at 6:30pm at Panora City Hall.
