Late last month the first of the two-game series between ACGC and Woodward Academy was postponed due to weather. Deja vu could strike again as a rainy afternoon and evening is likely to claim the doubleheader scheduled for tonight in Guthrie Center between the Chargers and the Knights.

The Chargers have played just one regularly scheduled game in the last week, losing to West Central Valley 15-0 in Stuart. They were also able to get in a Saturday morning game against Van Meter, which was also rescheduled due to weather. As there are only two weeks left in the regular season, it’s hard to imagine these games being made up at another time if the fields are unplayable.

The two teams come in with a combined record of 1-28. Should the weather brighten up, you can hear game one of the doubleheader on KKRF2 and the Raccoon Valley Radio Network.
