Greene County High School baseball had more games postponed by weather last week (4) than they played (3), but when they played, they won. Greene County won non-conference games over Manson-Northwest Webster on Friday and Carroll High and Kuemper Catholic (Carroll) Saturday at the Kuemper tournament. Overall, Coach John Hupp’s Rams have won four straight games and stand at 9-7 heading into a big week of Heart of Iowa Activities Conference games.

The Rams host PCM (Monroe) at Allensworth Field tonight on KG98 and www.raccoonvalleyradio.com. First pitch is set for around 7:30 p.m.

Tuesday is a triple header day for the Rams with a make up doubleheader with Roland-Story (Story City) set to begin at 10 a.m., followed by a few hours off, then a non-conference night game with Woodward-Granger. All three are home games.

The whirlwind of games continues Wednesday night when Nevada returns to Allensworth Field to continue a HOIAC game that was suspended in the bottom of the first of a scoreless tie on KG98 and www.raccoonvalleyradio.com.
