Multiple thunderstorms impacted last night’s Class 3A Distict 14 baseball playoff doubleheader in Grinnell. The Adel-Desoto-Minburn Tigers were suppose to play in game two of the doubleheader against Grinnell at 7 p,m. but inclement weather pushed the game until this evening. An hour lightening delay in game one between Knoxville and Dallas Center-Grimes pushed the conclusion of their game to 15 minutes before 9 p.m. Minutes before ADM and Grinnell were to throw the first pitch, cloud to cloud lightning occurred again, pushing the start time back another half hour. The teams tried until 9:45 pm. to start the game before calling it a night and moving the contest to today. Weather permitting, the teams will make up the game today in Grinnell at 5 p.m The Raccoon Valley Radio Network will have live play by play coverage of the playoff game on True Country K 107.9, raccoonvalleyradio.com, and the KKRF mobile app starting at 4:30 p.m.
