The Panora City Council will meet in regular session tonight.
The Council will continue its discussion on City sidewalks. The City has taken a comprehensive look at sidewalks as part of their goal setting workshops through Region XII Council of Governments. Tonight they will seek action on a resolution levying assessments. There are a total of fifteen properties that are part of the assessment, with improvement estimates ranging from $153-$6,041.
The Council will then seek action on appointing members to the Veteran’s Memorial Auditorium Commission and a change to the Employee Handbook regarding advanced sick leave policy. They will also discuss a job description for Electric Department employees and the shuffleboard court on the downtown square. The meeting will conclude with administrative reports and a possible closed session to evaluate an employee.
The meeting begins at 6:30pm at Panora City Hall.
