A freshman on this year’s West Central Valley Wildcats baseball team led the squad in extra-base hits this summer. Drew Taylor spent this season between three infield positions, including pitcher, shortstop and third base. Of his 34 hits, 15 went for extra bases including seven doubles, three triples, and five home runs. He finished the season as the team leader in all three extra-base hit categories. The West Central Valley baseball team closed the 2018 season with a 12-15 overall record, graduating Riley Algreen and Billy Larsen from the program.
