Tomorrow, the Perry St. Jude Council 1243 of the Knights of Columbus will be hosting their annual hog roast, and the entire parish is invited to attend.
Father Chris Reising will roast a whole hog for the attendees, and the parishioners are only asked to bring a side dish to contribute to the meal. The event will also serve as the first opportunity for many in the community to meet new St. Patrick’s Catholic School Principal Kandice Roethler, who took over the position July 1st. Parents who have an interest in having their kids attend the school are also invited to the feast, where they can talk to Roethler and tour the school.
The hog roast will begin at 12:30 p.m. in the St. Patrick School gymnasium, immediately following the 11:30 a.m. Hispanic Mass at the church.
