Friday, July 27th
A deputy investigated a one-vehicle accident that occurred in the area of X Avenue and 120th Street. The driver, Michael Alcozer (33) of Jefferson, of the vehicle was not present but did call the Greene County Sheriff’s Office later for it was towed to Fort Dodge. The accident occurred at approximately 2:00 am when Michael was traveling south on X Avenue and swerved to hit a deer. The vehicle entered the east ditch and struck a field drive, went airborne, rolled and stopped on it’s wheels in the ditch. The 2015 Jeep Cherokee was a total loss with it’s damage, no injuries were reported. Mid-Iowa Towing had removed the vehicle from the scene.
A deputy assisted Jefferson Police Department with apprehending a male subject with warrants in Greene County.
Robert Alan Frye (55) of Jefferson, was booked into the Greene County Jail for the charges of Revocation of Parole, Driving while License Denied or Revoked, Interference with Official Acts/Bodily Injury and Criminal Mischief 2nd Degree.
A deputy assisted Jefferson Police Department with locating a male for Violation of No Contact Order in the 300 block of North Chestnut Street.
James Kenneth Harris (31) of Perry, was booked into the Greene County Jail for Violation of No Contact/Protective Order and Domestic Abuse Assault 2nd Offense.
Ronald Dean Mulder (61) of Perry, was booked into the Greene County Jail for Violation of Probation.
A deputy investigated a criminal mischief complaint in 1600 block of J Avenue.
A deputy assisted with cattle out in the area of O Avenue and 150th Street.
Saturday, July 28th
A deputy investigated an injured animal in the road east of Jefferson on 235th Street.
A deputy investigated a careless driving complaint on 220th Street, east of Jefferson.
A deputy assisted Greene County EMS with a female patient in Jefferson.
A deputy responded to a domestic disturbance call in Spring Lake Park.
A deputy assisted Jefferson Police Department with a trespassing call at the intersection of Perry Street and Cedar Street.
A deputy assisted a motorist on U Avenue and 240th Street.
Sunday, July 29th
A deputy assisted Greene County EMS with a patient in Churdan.
A deputy investigated a careless driving complaint on 220th Street, west of Scranton.
A deputy investigated an abandoned vehicle on 220th Street and S Avenue.
A deputy investigated a trespassing complaint in the 400 block of East Railroad Street in Grand Junction.
A deputy apprehended a female in the 500 block of East Main Street in Grand Junction. The Takyla Pittman was arrested for active warrants in Greene County.
Takyla Ruth Pittman (28) of Perry, was booked into the Greene County Jail for the charges of Revocation of Probation (x2).
A deputy investigated a domestic disturbance call in the 300 block of South 7th Street in Grand Junction.
In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
