MJBThe Mary J. Barnett Memorial Library in Guthrie Center will be closing out their summer reading program with a finale. Their End of Summer Reading Party will be from 1:30-2:30pm on Thursday.

There will be ice cream served, and prizes will be given out during the party. The winning team will also be announced. Earlier this summer, K-5 participants were divided into teams designated by colored banners. The library thought this configuration would fit well with the Smithsonian Institute’s Exhibit, “Hometown Teams,” which was housed at the library for the majority of the summer.
