Construction is continuing today on a portion of Puckerbrush Road east of Adel, which will once again cause the road to be closed during daytime hours.

The Dallas County Secondary Roads Department is working on a culvert repair project, resulting in the closure of a stretch of road less-than one-mile-long, running south from Highway 6 to Prospect Circle. The road will be closed to all traffic until 5 p.m. this evening, and will reopen afterwards. Additionally, Puckerbrush Road will be closed again from Monday, August 6th through Friday, August 10th for additional repairs. During that week, the road will not be reopened in the evening.
