Panorama-Panthers-Picture112The Panorama School Board met in regular session Monday.

The Board continued their discussion on a soccer sharing agreement with Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center. Superintendent Shawn Holloway says it is very likely the agreement will be finalized during next month’s regular meeting.

“The vast majority of all of them (the Board) are on board with soccer sharing. I think they see that as a win for students in the area. I think last year we showed that we could have a program and it can stand on its own. It’s a little bit like our sharing agreement with Perry (Community Schools) for swim. It’s good for our kids (and) it helps their program a little bit. I think we’re trying to look at it the same way with soccer…I think it’s a win-win for both sides.”

The Board also discussed amending the Building Usage Policy and Procedures to accommodate funeral ceremonies at the secondary building with the District’s discretion. No formal action was taken as a result of the discussion. They also approved milk and bread bids with Anderson Erickson and Bimbo Bakeries respectively and Rick Engel was appointed as the District’s attorney for the 2018-2019 school year.
