The Adel Family Aquatic Center will be closing up for the year after this Sunday, but they’re going out with a fun yearly tradition.

The pool will be open today for normal hours, and tomorrow from 12:30-8:30 p.m. Sunday, however, the center will be open to the public from 12:30-6:30 p.m., and after that will be the annual “Doggie Dip.” People are invited to bring their canine companions to the pool for some aquatic fun in the lap and zero-depth entry areas. The event is free for season pass holders and their dogs. For everyone else, there will be a $5 entry fee per dog. Attendees are reminded to make sure their pooches are current on all their shots.

The Doggie Dip will last until 8:30, at which time the aquatic center will close its doors until next year.
