Among the few bright spots from last year’s 1-8 campaign last season for the Adel-Desoto-Minburn Tigers football team was the play Nick Bradshaw on defense. Bradshaw, an incoming senior, recorded a district-best 91 total tackles last season for the Tigers defense, including 78 solo tackles, 11 solo tackles for loss, one sack, and 13 assisted tackles. He recorded these eye-popping numbers despite standing 5’10 and weighing 185 pounds as a linebacker last fall. The Raccoon Valley Radio Network sat down with Bradshaw at practice last week to discuss his playing career at ADM. He shares with us his love of tackling people. “I love hitting people, it gets me fired up,” Bradshaw said, “Something about dominating on the field and doing something you’re good and reaching your best potential.”
Bradshaw is one of 14 seniors out for football this fall under first-year head coach Garrison Carter. The ADM Tiger football team kicks off the 2018 competition season this Friday in Polk County against the Bondurant-Farrar Bluejays. Listen to live play-by-play coverage of ADM Tiger football all season long on True Country K 107.9, raccoonvalleyradio.com, and the KKRF mobile app.
