The fall sports teams at Panorama Community Schools had a mock game day experience Friday evening in Panora. The Panthers volleyball, cross country, and football teams all held scrimmages against the Ogden Bulldogs. For the Panorama cross country team, they usually hold a preseason time trial the week before regular season competition begins.

Panther cross country coach Greg Thompson shared with Raccoon Valley Radio his thoughts on adding the Ogden Bulldogs to the time trial. “I really enjoyed it,” Thompson said, “I know the Ogden boys (cross country team) is ranked based on their state qualifying performance last year. So it was good to see where my boys were at compared to theirs. We’re a little bit behind, but we’re going to develop and continue to grow throughout the year. We’ve always done a time trial for several years but to do it against somebody else is a little bit extra motivation for our kids.”
