A year ago the Greene County Activities Booster Club began seasonal pep rallies for the various sports seasons. GCABC continues with the Fall Sports Pep Rally on the Square tomorrow night in Jefferson on the south Greene County Courthouse Plaza near the Mahanay Tower.

Food will be available from Greene County Early Learning Center and the Greene County Farmer’s Market will be going on from 4-6:30 p.m. on the East side of the Courthouse.

The pep rally kickoff is from 6-6:30 p.m. with events for youngsters such as a football throw, volleyball passing and setting, cross-country races, cheerleading cheers and jumps, and swim team, band, & color guard holding a Rams’ tattoo station.

At 6:30 p.m., the pep rally begins with team members and coaches from football, volleyball, cross-country, and girls’ swimming being introduced.

Cross-country and volleyball start their seasons on Thursday, with the first football game on Friday.
