The Perry volleyball team will look to get their conference season started on the right note tonight when they host Boone in a 7:00 varsity match inside the Sports Pavilion. The match will mark both the home and conference opener for the Jayettes. It has been a slow start out of the gate for the young Jayettes having won one game in 17 games played. The Jayettes went 0-6 Saturday at the competitive Skip Anderson Classic in Bondurant. Perry head coach John Fulton told the fall pep rally crowd two weeks ago one of the goals for this year’s squad is to win a Raccoon River conference game and their first chance will be tonight. Freshmen and junior varsity will start at 5:30 followed by varsity.
