It’s Labor Day today which means that there are several public offices and buildings that are closed today in Guthrie County. City Hall offices, post offices, and public libraries in Stuart, Panora, and Guthrie Center are all closed, as will the Guthrie County Courthouse and the Guthrie County Transfer Station.

Stuart garbage routes will remain the same for the week. Garbage routes in Guthrie Center, Jamaica, and Lake Panorama will be pushed back to tomorrow. Those who have Jensen Sanitation for those garbage pickups, will have their routes collected as normal tomorrow.
