Eleven matches into the season and the Adel-Desoto-Minburn Tigers volleyball team is showcasing above average defense at the net. The Tigers are idle the rest of the week after Tuesday night’s straight-set victory over the Perry Jayettes (25-13, 25-7, 25-14), improving their overall record to 6-5. Entering competition tonight, ADM currently leads the Raccoon River Conference in total blocks with 56. Senior Jordyn Crow is the league’s top blocker this season with 24 solo stops. Junior Delaney Bertman is the conference’s second overall swatter with 13 blocks. Sophomore AJ Smith also has double-digit blocks with 10. The ADM Tiger varsity volleyball team resumes their season on the road Tuesday against the Carroll Tigers in a Raccoon River Conference match.
