Stuart’s final rolling car show of the summer kicks off late this afternoon. The third and final Scoop the Loop will begin at 4pm with registration.
The theme for today’s event is a throwback to honor area homecoming queens and kings of the past 25 years. Former royalty who plan to attend should arrive at the lawn between the Masonic Temple and The Stuart Herald at 6pm for a photo. In addition to the thematic elements, the drawing for the Pontiac Chieftan courtesy of Karl Chevrolet will also take place. The winner must be present to receive the car and the drawing will follow the awards ceremony, which begins at 7:15pm.
As always there will be several categories for prizes and trophies, as well as kids activities, organizations selling food and beverages, and live music. The show is free and open to the public.
