panoraThe Panora City Council will meet in regular session tonight.

The Council will discuss an endorsement of the Lenon Mill Dam Waterway project and Low Head Public Hazard Program application. Following discussion they will seek formal action on a resolution approving the endorsement. The approval would formally allow the City to use funds should they receive a grant from the Iowa Department of Natural Resources for increasing safety and efficiency.

They will also discuss a 28E agreement for service at the Guthrie County Transfer Station. City and County officials met with Guthrie County Public Health on Thursday to discuss the particulars of the agreement. No formal action is expected to be taken on the discussion.

The meeting begins at 6:30pm at Panora City Hall.
