The Stuart City Council will meet in regular session tonight.
The Council will conduct a public hearing on a development agreement for renovations of the Morrison building downtown. The agreement would provide Tax Increment Financing for the renovations. There will also be a public hearing for property rezoning in the Wambold Housing area from agricultural to residential for the continued construction of phase two of the project.
Other proposed action items include: the 2018 Adair and Guthrie Counties Hazard Mitigation Plan, an annual contribution for Midwest Partnership, a sewer department purchase, a resolution expressing the Council’s support for a veteran’s memorial at Lawbaugh City Park, a payment for the Karl Chevrolet expansion project, and an appointment to the City’s Utility Board. The meeting will conclude with continued discussion on employee wages.
The meeting begins at 6:30pm in the Council Chambers at Stuart City Hall.
