The Raccoon Valley Radio Network interviewed West Central Valley head volleyball coach John Jones for Monday’s Wahl McAtee Tire and Service Center Guthrie County PM Sports Page. Jones spoke about Nizzi being crowned West Central Valley’s 2018 homecoming queen. “Haley’s (Nizzi) is a really positive girl, and I couldn’t be more pleased for her,” Jones said, “She doesn’t get down, and when she sees a teammate shaking her head because of a bad hit or something, she’s the first one there telling them to shake it off.”

Nizzi’s recorded 51 total digs this fall for West Central Valley, ranking third on the squad defensively. The West Central Valley Wildcats volleyball team resumes their season tonight on the road against the Interstate 35 Roadrunners in a West Central Activities Conference match.
