The Raccoon River Conference volleyball season resumes on the road tonight for the Adel-Desoto-Minburn Tigers (6-6 overall; 1-1 RRC). The Tigers travel to Huxley for a league contest against the Ballard Bombers (1-11 overall; 1-2 RRC). ADM topped Ballard last season in come from behind fashion (22-25, 17-25, 25-21, 25-16, 17-15). The Tigers latest result came last Tuesday as ADM fell in straight sets to the Carroll Tigers (20-25, 23-25, 16-25). Junior Josi Lonneman fell two kills shy of a double-double, registering eight kills and 11 digs. Junior Delaney Bertman dished out a team-high 11 assists in a loss. Ballard is having a tough start to the fall on the hardwood, losing 12 of their first 13 matches. The Bombers posted a 19-12 record in 2017. The varsity match between ADM and Ballard serves around 7 p.m. from Ballard High School in Huxley.
