The Guthrie County Board of Supervisors will meet in regular session today.

The meeting will begin with a public hearing on rezoning of a property in Herndon. The rezoning request is in regards to a lot and a parcel just east of the intersections of State highways 4 and 141. The request is to reclassify the property from Agricultural Production (A-1) to Heavy Industrial (M-2). Following the hearing the Board will act on the proposed request and an ordinance adopting the amended zoning map.

The Board will then hear the job duties and responsibilities of Breanna Morman, Coordinator for Disability Services for Guthrie County in the Heart of Iowa Mental Health Region. Other proposed action items include approving an insurance certificate of compliance and transferring of funds for the County Conservation Board.

The meeting begins at 9am in the Supervisors’ Room in the Guthrie County Courthouse in Guthrie Center.
