The West Central Valley School Board will meet in regular session tomorrow.

The meeting will begin with closing procedures for the 2017-2018 Board. Once last year’s Board officially adjourns, the 2018-2019 Board will begin with the election of the Board President and Vice President. They will also approve future meeting details, a delegate to the Iowa Association of School Boards, and County Conference Board representatives.

The Board will then review building reports from each of the four buildings in the District. Other proposed action items include: equipment breakdown insurance, strategic planning, Board policy updates, allowable growth for the deficit in special education funding, and property line fencing at the high school. The meeting will conclude with the Superintendent’s Report.

The meeting begins at 7pm in the music room at West Central Valley High School in Stuart.
