The Perry Parks and Recreation Department is offering another sports league specifically for adults, and the deadline for registration is approaching.

Starting October 10th, Parks and Rec will be hosting a Women’s Volleyball League on Wednesdays through the fall. The league is open to women age 18 and up, though participants cannot still be in high school. There is a minimum of 4 players on each squad, though most will be around 8-10 people, and it will cost $90 per team. The deadline to register is this Monday, October 1st, by 8 p.m. Games will be played at the McCreary Community Building starting at 6 p.m. each Wednesday. The season will be a round-robin format with a double elimination tournament at the end to decide the winners.
