A reminder that today is the first-ever Amazing Race for Charity fundraiser in Jefferson.

The race starts on the bell tower plaza, south of the Greene County Courthouse, at 9am. Teams of two will be going to various locations throughout Jefferson, having to complete mental, physical and experience-based challenges. The top three teams will win prizes at the after-party back at the bell tower plaza.

The goal of the Amazing Race for Charity is to select a different non-profit organization to raise funds for every year. This year’s proceeds will be given to the Bringing Opportunity and Optimism to Students and Teachers (BOOST). The organization helps to supplement funding for Greene County teachers so they can do more for their students.
