Dallas Supervisors 8-7

The Dallas County Board of Supervisors will convene Tuesday morning in regular session.

The Board will hold two public hearings during the meeting, with the first starting at 9:30 a.m. about a memorandum of understanding for a supplemental food program. The second hearing begins at 9:45 and will focus on a storm sewer easement under the Raccoon River Valley Trail west of Waukee. Following that, the Board will hold a workshop regarding the DMACC Farm north of Adel. They will also consider a resolution to convert the bus barn on the farm into a classroom space.

The Board will then consider a vehicle purchase request for the Sheriff’s Office, followed by a workshop with the Human Resources Department. The meeting will conclude with two possible closed sessions, the first for pending litigation regarding encroachment on County property, and the second to discuss purchase of particular real estate. The meeting will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday in the Board of Supervisors meeting room in downtown Adel.
