What’s the only thing better than homemade baked goods at affordable prices? Helping a great cause while you’re enjoying them!

It’s with that thought in mind that the Friends of the Adel Public Library Foundation is once again offering their popular annual bake sale. The event will be held Friday, October 25th from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. at the library. All proceeds will go directly to the Friends group, which helps the library pay for special projects and programs throughout the year. Additionally, anyone wanting to show off their baking skills and help the cause is invited to donate some goodies to the sale. The items can be dropped off during normal business hours this Thursday, or before 9 a.m. on Friday if you really want to provide that freshly-baked taste.
