Bragging rights between two Guthrie County schools returned to its longtime home Friday night. The Panorama Panthers varisty football team made the drive to Stuart for a Class 1A District 8 finale against the West Central Valley Wildcats. The Panthers closed out the 2018 campaign with a winning record, topping the Wildcats, 29-8. Luke South closed his junior football season with 294 yards passing and one touchdown. The Panthers scored two long defensive touchdowns, a 21 yard Domonic Walker interception return in the first quarter and a 59-yard fumble recovery from Gracen Welburg in the second quarter. The win closed Panorama’s season at 5-4, while West Central Valley ends their season with a 1-8 mark.
