PACES LOAS 2018 1

Perry’s Academic, Cultural, and Enrichment Services (PACES) program recently held their big fundraiser of the year with “Lights On Afterschool,” but that doesn’t mean their efforts are finished for the year.

With that in mind, this Tuesday PACES is pitting the three Perry schools against each other for a Jeans Day challenge. PACES Director Mary Hillman says the teachers and staff at Perry Elementary, Middle School, and High School can pay $5 to wear jeans to school for the day. The building that has the most participation will win bragging rights for the next year. Hillman says the money raised through the Jeans Day will be added to amount raised from the “Pledges for PACES” event this past Wednesday, which she hopes will be in excess of $2,000 total. She also emphasizes that no amount donated is too small.
