The lead runner of the West Central Valley boys cross country team will represent his school at the state meet next week in Fort Dodge. Junior Louden Foster was one of four runners to clock a time under 18 minutes at the Class 1A State Qualifying meet in Guthrie Center Thursday, taking third place with a time of 17:46. Foster advances his season to the Iowa State Cross Country meet Saturday, October 27, at the Lakeside Municipal Golf Course in Fort Dodge.
