The Jefferson City Council will meet tonight.
The Council is expected to approve an amendment to the urban renewal plan for the Jefferson Urban Renewal Area, as well as a development agreement with the Jefferson Veterinary Clinic in connection with construction of the facility, following two separate public hearings. Additionally, the Council will consider for approval the quarterly funding request for Greene County Development Corporation, purchasing a cover for the municipal swimming pool, adopting a revised personnel manual, a plat for survey application and the third reading to amend an ordinance to increase water and sewer rates by three-percent each.
The Council will also consider approving resolutions for reimbursements for a swimming pool liner and cover, and a joint city/county agreement for establishing the Beaver Creek Wind Farm Urban Renewal Plan. Finally, the mayor is expected to make a proclamation for Donor Awareness Week and the Council will hear a financial review.
The meeting begins at 5:30pm in the City Hall Council Chambers.
