Jefferson Matters: Main Street’s Business Vitality Committee is hosting the last Business After Hours event of the year next week.

The “Marketing for Small Businesses” presentation will take place at the Jefferson Elks Lodge on Monday evening. JMMS Program Director Peg Raney says Main Street Iowa Business Specialist Robin Bostrom will lead the program. “She was here earlier this year and did one on social media marketing for businesses. But this one is everything else but social media. She has the opportunity to travel throughout the state and then she goes to national conventions. This is for small businesses.”

A social time will begin at 5:15pm with Jefferson Iowa Realty sponsoring a free drink, and free snacks will also be provided. The 45-minute presentation will then start at 5:45pm.
