A reminder that a Democratic candidate for Lieutenant Governor of Iowa will be in Jefferson later today.

Iowa Senator Rita Hart will be at the Milwaukee Depot from 11:45am to 12:45pm. The campaign stop is part of Hart and her running mate, gubernatorial candidate Fred Hubbell’s “Get Iowa Growing” Tour. The event is free and open to the public. Hart and Hubbell are running against Republican candidates Kim Reynolds and Adam Gregg, along with Libertarian candidates Jake Porter and Lynn Gentry in the governor and lieutenant governor race.

Today’s event is hosted by the Greene County Democratic Party.
