The volleyball coaches of the West Central Activites Conference honored three members of the West Central Valley Wildcats varsity squad for their contributions during the 2018 season. Wildcat head volleyball coach John Jones shared with Raccoon Valley Radio that senior Madison Waddell, senior Abigail Speichinger, and junior Jenna Merical were all selected as WCAC all-conference honorable mention selections this fall. The trio are among the statistical leaders on this year’s Wildcat varsity squad. Waddle topped West Central Valley with a school record 307 digs and 27 aces. Speichinger served up a team-best 306 assists, while Merical registered a squad-leading 163 kills. The West Central Valley Wildcats varsity volleyball team closed the 2018 season with a 7-13 overall record, a one win improvement from last season.
