The ACGC wrestling team will once again have a packed schedule this season. The road to “The Well” begins on Thursday, November 29th with a quadrangular at West Central Valley featuring the host Wildcats, as well as East Union and Nodaway Valley.

The Chargers will open up December with the annual Nodaway Valley tournament in Greenfield on the 1st. Their first home duals are scheduled for Thursday, December 6th against Bedford and Coon Rapids-Bayard. The following week they will host another dual meet with Panorama, Ogden and Southwest Valley. Other competitions in December include the Riverside Invitational, the West Central Activities Conference duals, and a quadrangular at Van Meter.

Once the calendar flips to 2019, the gold and black will begin their schedule at Griswold for a quadrangular on Thursday, January 3rd. The highlight for the first month of the year is the annual Charger Invitational on Saturday, January 26th. ACGC will also host another dual meet on January 10th. Other January tournaments include Coon Rapids-Bayard (1/5), Kuemper Catholic (1/12) and Corning (1/19).

The postseason schedule begins on Saturday, February 2nd with the home sectional. Schools travelling to ACGC for the Class 1A Section 3 meet are AHSTW, Exira-EHK, Nodaway Valley, Ogden, Panorama, and West Central Valley. The top two in each weight class will advance to the Class 1A District 2 Tournament at I-35 in Truro the following Saturday.
