The Guthrie County Conservation Board met this week and several people were appointed to different foundations.

According to Conservation Director Joe Hanner, Maggie Armstrong was reappointed to a three-year term on the Prairie Woodland Conservation Foundation. Other board members include Bill Bump, Doug Frels, and Ryan Steenblock. Steve Kroeger and Doug Long were reappointed to three-year terms on the Guthrie County Historical Village Foundation. Other board members include Alex Krueger, Nancy Smith, and Rod Stanley. Both foundations are non-profit corporations whose purpose is to accept gifts for the development and enhancement of environmental, educational, and other conservation projects within the county and the Guthrie County Historical Village.
