Leadership for the 2019 Bell Tower Festival has been named.

The 2019 festival is slated for June 7th through the 9th, and Pete Russell has agreed to serve as the chair, with Ann Ostendorf as the co-chair. Both Russell and Ostendorf are former festival chairs and Ostendorf describes why she wanted to help lead the festival, which she chaired almost 20 years ago.

“The festival has always been an important part of our community to me. So we wanted to get it started again and get it going well and just spread all of the enthusiasm of our county to everyone. So we’re all excited for June to come and get it started and ready to rock and roll again.”

The Bell Tower Festival Advisory Committee and the Greene County Chamber and Tourism Board have worked together since the summer on developing an organizational handbook and responsibilities of the festival. Advisory Committee Chair Doug Rieder says they recently received an initial donation from the Bell Tower Community Foundation for seed money for the festival.
