Tuesday, November 20th

7:13am: A deputy investigated a car deer accident on A Avenue and 185th Street. Nathan Byerly 27 of Churdan struck a deer with a 2011 Chevrolet Silverado causing around 2,500 dollars damage.

8:45am: A deputy investigated a theft in the 800 block of East Main Street, Grand Junction.

9:07am: A deputy investigated criminal mischief in the 400 block of Sand Street, Churdan.

3:19pm: A deputy removed debris from the roadway on 220th Street near R Avenue.

4:53pm: A deputy tried to locate a dog running at large in the 800 block of Percival Street, Grand Junction.

6:59pm: A deputy assisted the Jefferson Police Department with trying to locate a vehicle near Fareway.

Wednesday, November 21st

1:49am: A deputy conducted a welfare check in the 1600 block of Neola Avenue.

3:42am: A deputy conducted a traffic stop on 16th Street and North Sandoe Street, Grand Junction. Christopher Sowers 46 of Grand Junction for driving while barred and possession of a controlled substance.

4:56am: A deputy assisted a motorist in the 200 block of 175th Street.

5:21am: Christopher Sowers 46 of Grand Junction was booked into the jail for driving while barred and possession of a controlled substance.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
