All three recent state qualifiers return this winter for the Adel-Desoto-Minburn Tigers varsity wrestling team, and one media publication has the trio rated in their preseason rankings. The website IAWrestle.com issued their initial 2018-19 individual and team polls last Monday. Senior Andrew Flora, senior Nolan Harsh, and junior Kaden Sutton all found their name in the publication’s Class 2A personal rankings. Flora, the returning Class 2A 113 pound state champion, starts the newest season as the top-ranked wrestler at 126 pounds. Harsh, a state qualifier at 152 pounds last winter, begins ranked sixth overall in the 182-pound weight class. Sutton, a state qualifier at 220 pounds, commences the season as the sixth-ranked heavyweight wrestler. The dual season starts for the ADM varsity wrestling team on Thursday, traveling to Huxley for a triangular event versus the North Polk Comets and the Ballard Bombers.
