A long layoff for the Panorama Panthers varsity girls basketball continues until late this week. Once the Panthers resume their regular season schedule Friday, the squad will play three home contests in five days. The homestand starts with a West Central Activites Conference contest against the Woodward-Granger Lady Hawks. The Panthers return to the court less than 20 hours later for a Saturday afternoon matchup versus the IKM-Manning Wolves. Panorama’s short stretch of home games concludes next Tuesday in the first-ever league contest against conference newcomer Pleasantville. The No. 9 Panorama Panthers girls basketball team started the 2018-19 season last Tuesday with a 45-38 victory over a Class 4A foe in the Gilbert Tigers.
