A Jefferson teen faces an additional felony charge for allegedly selling drugs to a minor.
According to court documents, 18-year-old Rodney Halterman was charged with a Class B Felony for distribution of a controlled substance to a person under the age of 18. Court documents show that during an investigation into a similar case, Jefferson Police Officers executed a search warrant of Halterman’s Facebook messages and found that it appeared he had sold marijuana to a 17-year-old girl. When the girl was brought in for questioning, she admitted that she purchased marijuana from Halterman on August 22nd.
Halterman is already facing felonies for possession of marijuana with intent to deliver, failure to affix tax stamp, and misdemeanors for fourth degree theft and possession of drug paraphernalia in an unrelated case.
