During their three-win campaign last winter, the Adel-Desoto-Minburn Tigers varsity boys basketball team tallied 200 total assists, the worst output in the Raccoon River Conference. This year’s Tigers boys basketball team is on pace to surpass that in mid-January, averaging 15.75 dimes in the first eight games of the year. ADM has posted a 6-2 record through the first third of the regular season, registering 16 or more assists in five games this winter (all wins). The Tigers tallied a season-high 22 dimes in a 63-10 victory in Perry on December 14. Sophomore Nate Mueller enters the holiday break the Raccoon River Conference leader in assists with 44, and ADM is the league leaders at the moratorium break with 126 total dimes. Junior Nate Conrad and sophomore Dylan Anderson each assisted on 17 baskets, senior Koby Hardcastle has16 dimes, and sophomore Tate Stine-Smith dished out 14. The ADM boys basketball season resumes Friday, January 4, in a Raccoon River Conference road contest against the Bondurant-Farrar Bluejays.
